The Deutsche Paladin Property Securities Fund (also known as the Ironbark Paladin Property Securities Fund) (Fund) is a traditional property securities fund which commenced operation in 1995.
Fund Objective and Strategy
The Deutsche Paladin Property Securities Fund seeks to outperform the S&P/ASX 200 A-REIT Accumulation Index over rolling three-year periods before fees and taxes.
The Fund invests predominately in Australian property trusts and property related securities, with some exposure to cash investments.
The Fund may also invest in unlisted Initial Public Offering (‘IPO’) securities, provided those securities are expected to be listed within three months of issue.
The Fund may have exposure to derivatives for investment and currency management purposes.
In particular, derivatives may be used by the Investment Manager for hedging to protect an asset in the Fund against market value fluctuations; to reduce volatility in the Fund; as a substitute for a physical security; or when adjusting asset exposures within the investment parameters of the Fund.
The Fund pays distributions quarterly.

The Fund charges an ongoing management fee of 0.70% of the Net Asset Value of the Fund.
There is a 0.30% spread between the buy unit price and the sell unit price.
